 Student Presentation on Netsafety will take place on Thursday 14 June. All presentations will take place in the Big Room. Presentations will be done by year group as follows:

Topics covered will include:

Cyberbullying

Sexting

Facebook friends, privacy, tips

Pornography

Passwords

Digital footprint

The presentation focuses strongly about the consequences of information being put online, how it can have a negative effect later in life, how information can be used and how that information can go viral, ofetn way outside of its original audience intent.

 It is made clear that law enforcement agencies can now collect more information from texts and internet data than ever before and that the law commission is looking closely at bullying and it may become a criminal offence in the future.
