Mark Robertson is happy to convene the maintenance committee. He is not able to attend PTA meetings on Tuesday nights.

4. Reports
Headmaster (presented by Steve Fraser)
ANZAC service has received good feedback. Cross country race held. Navy recruiting bus has been at school. INZONE (stimulating strengths, passions, career choices) tour at school today, all boys attended. Class photos last week. May 27 is open night, Trevor to address parents in the hall twice during evening.
Parent/teacher interviews 4.00 to 6.00pm - yr 10, 11 May;
yr 11, 12 & 13 (A-L) 13 May, (M - Z) 18 May.
Founders day also 18 May

Treasurer
Janusz gave a verbal report. Balance on current is $58,835.40. Transfer of funds yet to be made to school. Janusz to see the bursar about this

Hostel
AGM held 25 April. Phil Robson has left the Hostel, Nathan & Mal(?) Walsh have taken over the positions.

Board of Trustees
Ian tabled a list of Board members & their photos. The first meeting of the new Board was held last week. An orientation day was held on Saturday 1 May where Trevor introduced the school management structure and some of the Ministry of Education terminology and requirements. Board accountant Teresa Harris introduced the financial reporting process to new members. There was a visit to Adams House and sub committee membership decided. The next meeting is 25 May.

Te Kura Trust
No report as no meeting held recently

Has not met yet

2. Canteen management
Has not met. Need to check that employment contracts are in place.

5. Fundraising
Miriam to pursue a suitable movie and theatre for a Sunday in mid June, say 13 June. Tickets to be brought to next PTA meeting.

ANZAC went well. Thank you to Diane for her advance food preparation, to the sandwich makers and to Diane and Joe for scouring the school in advance for the PTA cups.

Inward - Reminder from South Island Federation PTA Association Inc of one day seminar and AGM on Sunday 23 May at Cashmere Club. Pamphlets on Education Review Office and Reviews in Schools.
