CBHS takes out 1st place in the Inter-school History Competition
On Tuesday the 29th of June, Year 11 students competed in the annual inter-school History competition. The competition was strongly contested between thirty school teams, with CBHS taking out the 1st place trophy (114 points). Christchurch Boys’ High has a record of success in this History competition, placing 2nd and 3rd in the 2019 event. Congratulations to the winning team of Richard Anderson, Thomas Tracey, Jonty King and Matt Horn (pictured). Our thanks go out to all 16 boys who volunteered their time and efforts; Vinnie McKee, George McFaull, Limah Fualau-Searle, Greg Barlow, Faraj Abbasi, Josh Gibson, James Simpson, Lukas Freeborn, Damon Noakes, Alex Clinch, Max Clinch, and Bevan McNaughton. I was constantly impressed by the breadth of knowledge and positive enthusiasm of all our students, with their quick wit making the training sessions an especially entertaining time for all.
