Shave for a Cure – $19,595 raised as at today Friday 22 September – Well done !!

This year CBHS is running a Shave for a Cure on the 21st of September (Last Thursday of Term). Shave for a Cure is something which is very special to our school, with our former head boy Jake Bailey being diagnosed with Burkitt’s non-Hodgkinson lymphoma, a rare form of blood cancer, only a week before the school prize giving. Jake went onto deliver his iconic speech and make a miraculous recovery due to quality treatment. Since this speech, school has run an annual Shave for a Cure raising a thousands of dollars each year. Last year, we raised over $13,000. Let’s beat that this year, get involved boys. Get fundraising and get shaving!
