Jo Pearson

Originally from the West Coast of the South Island, Jo Pearson started teaching at Christchurch Boys’ High School in 1995.  Throughout her time at Christchurch Boys’ High School, Jo has taken on various responsibilities including Manager of the Library, Specialist eLearning Teacher and roles within the English Department to support Junior English.

Jo gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Canterbury University and followed that with a Diploma of Teaching at Christchurch Teacher’s College.  For the past six years, Jo has been a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and has undertaken a wide range of professional development to ehance her knowledge and understanding of educational pedagogy.  Jo has been involved with basketball, badminton and cricket over the years and is currently working with the CBHS Study Club.

Jo is passionate about boys’ education and ensuring that students are being supported to become the best version of themselves.
