South Island Secondary Schools MX Champs

Lockie Milne battled hard against some of the fastest riders in the South Island in the 12-14yrs 125cc class and came away with 4th Place.

Lockie then went on to compete in the Canvastown MX Champs in Havelock over 2 days racking up an additional 12 more races proving that fitness and consistency was key in keeping up with the front bunch, Lockie came away with 5th place overall in the 12-16yrs 125cc class battling some very strong riders, and then 9th place overall in the 12-16yrs 85cc class with a stacked gate of riders all bustling to get to the front, this class was not without some hitches with a flat front tyre and some last minute clutch resetting but Lockie just kept going out there and pushed harder each lap. Was a great weekend overall leading towards Junior MX Nationals in two weeks time at Flips in the North Island.
